And the light won’t come on. But that’s the point of this standard light bulb socket with an attached motion sensor. Good for bulbs up to 150W, and has a range of approx (30) feet. Good for use with incandescent, halogen or CFL bulbs. (Package doesn’t list them, but it worked fine for us with an LED bulb.) Turns off 10 minutes after the last motion-activation. Socket is 3” long, and sensor is 2-1/4" x 2-1/16" x 1-11/16" with a 1-1/2" x 7/8" window on a threaded ball/socket. CSA and ETL listed.
